Shocked that 2008 is almost over and the rush has begun as Christmas gets closer, working at a jewellers in a popular mall in Cape Town equals the definite Xmas madness that accompanies retail!

Stumbled across a fantastic piece of street art on the weekend, along side the M5 highway which runs through a greater area of Cape Town.

A World Of …

Amber Beads

Necklaces, Rings, Earrings, Bracelets and Belts. A stunning series of books that spans adornment through Asia, Africa, Oceania and America. We have a couple in the library at CPUT and they immediately rocked my design work since I saw them 2 years ago.

My 1st post … A little Inspiration.

I stumbled upon this book in CPUT’s library after a friend recommended I try get my hands on it.  Anyway found it, went through it in awe so much so its overdue but wanted to share it as its a perfect visual look through fora and flora design within recent jewellery history.
